Whenever a Democrat or Republican is elected to office, the first thing voters should do is watch - closely watch - which special interests and powerful politicians they line up with. It's nice to think most politicians would line up with the people, but in the real world that rarely happens. Mostly, lawmakers and governors and presidents dance with the monied people who got them to the party in the first place. (MORE)
