Dr. Marc Trager served as a radiologist in the U.S. Air Force in Austin, Texas, after graduation from medical school and completion of his internship and residency. There Dr. Trager met his wife, First Lieutenant Mary Vandermause, while serving his country.  Mary is a fourth generation Wisconsinite from the Green Bay area, who was serving as an Air Force nurse.

Dr. Trager was honorably discharged and began his private practice in radiology after completing his duty in the Air Force. It was Mary, a graduate from the Bellin School of Nursing, who soon introduced Marc to the beauty and charm of the 8th District.

During his 35 years of medical practice, Dr. Trager has gained a deep understanding of the health care system. His experience in running radiology departments, negotiating contracts, and listening to patients has furthered his insight. He is currently a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiologic Society of North America, the American Medical Association, the Wisconsin Medical Society, and the Brown County Medical Society.

Dr. Trager remains involved in the Green Bay community after recently stepping back from active practice.  He serves on the Village of Howard Sex Offender Residence Appeals Board where he works to keep his neighborhood safe. Additionally, Dr. Trager helps lead the local Crown Financial Ministries, an organization that seeks to instill principles of financial integrity and discipline. Dr. Trager has mentored and counseled individuals and families facing financial difficulties through his work with Crown. Dr. Trager also stays fit as he coaches and referees youth soccer in the Green Bay area. His coaching responsibilities have included several competitive travel teams, the Green Bay East Girls JV Team, and the Edison Middle School 7th-8th Grade Team.

Dr. Trager has been married to his wife Mary for 31 years. He has four children and two grandchildren.
