The House VOTED Friday and the results were so close: 219-Y and 212-N. With over 40 Democrats voting NO, it shows how important it is for us to contact our legislators and tell them by phone, email and regular mail that we do not want this bill to pass in the SENATE!
ReplyDeleteThis bill demonizes out existing sources of energy - and imposes big penalties/ fees/ taxes on carbon emissions which will affect all our personal and business costs for energy usage. Costs to manufacturers, transportation companies and others will all have to pass along the increased costs to consumers with higher prices.
Even GREEN PEACE and the EPA do not support this bill! They fear that the policies may not reduce emissions and will drive US jobs overseas as companies are forced to slow or stop manufacturing in the US and relocate in countries that do not have these standards!
